Shimmer Lip Gloss: How It Enhances One’s Beauty?

A shimmer lip gloss is a lip enhancer that sometimes gives subtle color and a lustrous shine. Shimmer lip gloss has a particular ingredient that makes the lips seem to glitter when applied. Most of these shimmer lip glosses are distributed  either in soft solid or liquid form.

Well, you must not deceive your looks from a lip gloss and a lip balm because the latter is intended for medicinal purpose. A shimmer lip gloss has characteristics and hues that are sometimes frosted, metallic, or glittered. These characteristics make the lips seem to glitter and shimmer.

The very first lip gloss was presented to the public in 1932 by world renowned make up artist, Max Factor. In 2003, Procter and Gamble sold the original formula when it decided to give up the product.Like any other lipstick, shimmer lip gloss comes in many different forms and maybe applied in various forms. A shimmer lip gloss’ container is a cylindrical bottle with rounded or sloped applicator wand also known as the doefoot applicator. You can even use your  finger tips or built in lip brush to apply a shimmer lip gloss. The shimmer lip gloss may even come in boxes and tubes that sometimes can be blurring one’s distinction from a lip balm and a lip gloss.

A shimmer lipstick is commonly used as a cosmetic because it offers moisturizing and protection from the harmful elements. There are also those that have sun shield formula and flavored ones! Make up manufacturers are creating lip gloss and shimmer lip gloss with natural ingredients except for some added preservatives.

For a more made up look, one should have a first coat on the lips and then followed by a second coating which is the shimmer lip gloss. A shimmer lip gloss is also used as the “introduction make up” for preteens and young teenagers who want wear lip enhancers but are still too young to wear intense lip colors.

Shimmer lip gloss adds enhances the beautiful lips of a person. This is especially so if you are wearing a red lip gloss. There is nothing wrong in wearing shimmer lip glosses as long as you know how to use it properly and to carry it in front of different people.
